The Carson Mitey Mite Silver youth football team ended its season with a 33-14 win over the Sparks Saints.

The Silver offense ran the ball at will against Sparks with outstanding blocking from Tyler Christy, Daniel Beard, Austin Baker, Willard Franklin, Zach Frewert, Garrett Clampitt, Stuart McElhaney, Jakob Weaver, Gabriel Catalani and Cody Main. Abel Carter, Dennis Krueger, Beard and Donald Hurst all scored touchdowns or extra points. Also sharing ball carrying duties for Carson were quarterback Trenton Robison, McElhaney, who spent some time under center, Richard Romero, and Main, who had a 6-yard run.

Leading the attack defensively were Carter, Robison, Hurst, Krueger, McElhaney, Christy, Beard, Romero, Khayman Garland, Joshua Buchan, Noah Doddridge, Dylan Mayo, Dylan Wemheuer, and Joeseph O'Neil. Carter had two interceptions and returned one for a touchdown.

The Silver was able to win without Andrew Trejo, Andrew Honein, and Ryan Kattenhorn, who were unable to play. The players would like to thank Carson City Pop Warner, their parents, and all the volunteers that made their season possible.
