LAS VEGAS " Police have issued an Amber Alert in Nevada in the search for a 6-year-old boy who investigators say was kidnapped from a Las Vegas home by at least two would-be robbers.
Authorities said Wednesday that at least two Hispanic men identified themselves as police officers tried to gain entry about 7:30 a.m. at a home several miles northeast of downtown.
The men allegedly demanded money and tied up the boy's mother and her boyfriend before abducting the boy.
The state Amber Alert identifies the boy as Cole Puffinburger. He's 3feet 11 inches tall and 48 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a black shirt, a black zip-up jacket, blue jeans and white shoes.
