NNDA names member service director

Northern Nevada Development Authority recently announced it had named Daniel Campos as the Member Service Director for the authority.

Campos works on developing programs and resources designed to meet the needs of current NNDA members as well as recruiting new members.

He brings more than 10 years of experience to the position having previously worked as the regional advertising manager for the Sierra Nevada Media Group/Swift Communications and director of advertising for the Nevada Appeal.

Campos has extensive sales and sales management experience. His responsibilities at Sierra Nevada Media Group/Swift Communications included project management, business development and regional growth initiatives. He also developed sales mentoring programs and hiring practice procedures. In 2007, he was the winner of the Swift Communications National Scholarship Award.

The Northern Nevada Development Authority focuses on recruitment, retention, and expansion of business and industry in Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey counties.

NNDA's mission is to sustain and improve the economic vitality and quality of life in the region through partnerships with educational institutions, industrial organizations, governmental bodies and non-profit and for-profit groups in the communities of the Greater Reno-Tahoe region.
