Valter Montanari, 55, of Carson City, died Oct. 24, 2008 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. Valter was born Nov. 12, 1952 to Orfeo Montanari and Maria Guzzinati in Ferrara, Italy. A memorial mass will be 10:30 a.m., Monday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
