Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


- Edi Pat Diller II, 39, a shipping manager from Carson City, was arrested at 9:09 p.m. Tuesday in the 2500 block of Pinon Pine Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery following an alleged dispute with his live-in girlfriend. Once at the jail, Diller allegedly tore up a blanket and unscrewed a metal bar. He was also booked on suspicion of gross misdemeanor damage to jail property. Bail was set at $5,500.


- Brandy Hyatt, 56 of Carson City, was arrested at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of Imperial Way on suspicion of gross misdemeanor domestic battery against the elderly. She allegedly struck her 90-year-old father with a cane after he threw a bottle of juice at her and missed. Bail was set at $5,000.


- A 51-year-old Carson City ice cream truck operator was arrested at 8:04 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of William Street. The ice cream truck broke down, and when an officer stopped, the female driver allegedly became aggressive. The woman was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing an investigation and impeding traffic. The truck, filled with ice cream, was turned over to her husband. Her bail was set at $436.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


- A 1971 travel trailer was stolen in May from the 3500 block of Northgate Lane at 8:54 a.m.


- Accident at North Division and Ann streets at 11:04 a.m.


- Report of a motorcycle stolen from the 1500 block of East Fifth Street at 1:30 p.m.


- Coroner call at 8:14 p.m. at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center.


- Report of doors kicked in on Center Drive at 10:31 p.m.

Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


- Report of a purse stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Valley Circle at 8:30 a.m. in Dayton.


- Coroner call on Cottonwood Court in Mason Valley at 2:32 p.m.


- A Dayton woman reported her purse was stolen the previous evening, but before she had a chance to cancel her credit cards, someone spent $1,200 at Wal-Mart.


- A lawn mower and gas can were reported stolen from a yard on East Ninth Street in Silver Springs.


- Report of jewelry, a knife and other items missing from a home on Newlands Drive in Fernley.
