Jeanette C. Reynolds, passed away September 2, 2008, at Eagle Valley Care Center where she was lovingly cared for by their wonderful staff these past few months. She as born July 31, 1920.

Jean was a long time resident of the Senior Apartments on California Street in Carson City. She was best known not only for her thoughtfulness to others but for her ability to draw magnificent pictures, freehand, using only the computer-mouse. She was very proud to be one of the recipients of the "Community Awards Artist of the Year" Medal in May of 2002 for her computer artwork.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Carole J. "CJ" Ojanpera of Minden; son, Douglas J. Reynolds and his wife Melinda of Minden and their daughters Jessica and Kelly; son Jack E. Reynolds and his wife Liz of Upland, Calif. and their son and daughter Stephen and Janis and her Great-Granddaughter Angela J. Ojanpera of Marysville, Wash.

All who knew Jean will miss her great smile, kindness and wonderful sense of humor. We are comforted by the knowledge that Jesus has welcomed Jean home and that she is now reunited with loved ones who passed on before her.

Jean requested that no formal service be held.
