Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 1:52 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of two counts of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $576.

- An 18-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at Curry and Tenth streets on suspicion of minor consuming alcohol, speeding, driving with an open container of alcohol in vehicle and drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,542.

- A 23-year-old auto worker from Carson City was arrested at 3:04 a.m. Wednesday in the 8500 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence, contempt of court, and failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $5,104.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of a loud party on Highland Street at

2:50 a.m.

- A 1996 Infiniti four-door sedan was stolen from the 3700 block of Highway 50 East sometime before

8:35 a.m.

- Two women, with two children, were cited for shoplifting $306 in items from Costco at 7:06 p.m.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Coroner call in the 300 block of Curry Street in Fernley at 9:41 a.m.

- A foster parent from Silver Springs reported at 9:52 a.m. that their 17-year-old foster son ran away on Saturday.

- Report of a juvenile stealing alcohol from a Fernley market at 1:48 p.m.

- Report of a drunk driver on Highway 50 East in Stagecoach at 1:43 p.m.

- Coroner call on Woodlake Court in Dayton Valley at 4:09 p.m.

- Report of a wallet stolen from a cart at Wal-Mart in Fernley at 10:16 p.m.
