Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


- Donald Allen Rife, 50, of Carson City, was arrested at 6:34 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of William Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and drunken pedestrian. Bail was set at $2,779.


- A 22-year-old Placerville man was arrested at 2:16 a.m. Monday on North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


- A 30-year-old laborer from Gardnerville was arrested at 9:387 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny. Bail was set at $347.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


- Report of several people "throwing gang signs" on Stanton Drive at 12:33 a.m.


- Report of an intoxicated driver passed out in his vehicle behind a North Carson Street bar at 2:08 a.m.


- Report of a plastic chair on fire in a backyard on Baker Drive at 1:02 p.m.


- Residential burglary report on East Robinson Street at 2:29 p.m.


- Coroner call in the 600 block of Westview Avenue at 4:21 p.m.


- Report of an intoxicated female, four months pregnant, and hitting herself in the stomach on West Winnie Lane at 5:43 p.m.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


- Arrest on Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 1:23 a.m.


- Arrest on Nevada Avenue in Silver Springs at 2:01 p.m.


- A woman reported at 3:05 p.m. in Fernley that her husband hit her in the face with a block of cheese. A misdemeanor arrest was made.


- A Mason Valley woman said a woman carrying a knife entered her home and threatened her son over an alleged rape, then left.


Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:


- A saloon worker called to ask that a "disruptive customer" be "escorted out of the business" on C Street at 5:26 p.m.


- Report at 5:50 p.m. that tools and bases were taken from Miner Field and nails spread around the field.
