Classic cars rule this week in Northern Nevada

August's ode to all things chrome and steel continues this week with Hot August Nights in Reno and Sparks, and this weekend with the Carson Valley Main Street show-n-shine.

Two-hundred and fifty classic cars are featured for this show and shine event Friday through Sunday in Minden. Friday night is the street dance and barbecue, Saturday is the car show, vendor display and food at Lampe Park. There will also be a car corral, where people can buy or sell vehicles.
