Christopher Courtney and Shannon Keyes will wed Oct. 3 in South Lake Tahoe.
Shannon Keyes and Christopher Courtney have announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Glenn and Donna Keyes of Minden. She graduated in 1997 from Galena High School in Reno. She works as a family services specialist with the Division of Welfare and Supportive Service Child Support Enforcement Program in Elko.
The groom-to-be is the son of Jeff and Eve Tlachac of Carson City. He graduated in 1993 from Carson High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a corporal stationed in Japan and North Carolina. He is currently a certified public manager with the Department of Motor Vehicles, rural offices in Elko.
The couple plans to wed Oct. 3 in South Lake Tahoe.
