George Ostrander, 61, of Yerington died Aug. 23, 2009. He was born in Los Angeles on Jan. 18, 1948, to George and Patricia Ostrander. George is survived by wife Sherilyn; children Sherilyn Rae (Sean) Elliott and Glen (Sabrina) Ostrander; three grandchildren; mother and sisters Sharon Cox, Angeli (Doug) Summerville and Melody (Hazen) Adams. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Yerington Intermediate Gym, 114 Pearl St. Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home, Yerington, is in charge of arrangements.
