Nevada expands high-risk group for vaccine

CARSON CITY (AP) - State health officials are expanding the high-risk group to receive priority for the swine flu vaccine.

Anyone 25 and older with underlying medical conditions will be considered at high-risk beginning Dec. 11.

The change will include people 64 and over with chronic health problems.

Officials say there is adequate vaccine available to increase the eligibility group.

Also, the Southern Nevada Health District has reported another swine flu-related death for the week that ended Saturday. The health district says a 55-year-old woman who had underlying medical conditions died.

The total number of swine flu-related deaths of Clark County residents since the spring is now at 30.
