School in Lyon County is canceled Tuesday according to a recorded message from Lyon County School District.
"Due the uncertainty of the weather conditions and for the safety of our students and staff,, there will be no schools open in Lyon County on Tuesday Dec. 8. This will give our communities more time to clean up our streets and get everything back in working order," according to the message that went out to parents of Lyon County students about 4:30 p.m.
