The Carson City Library is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair in the auditorium through Dec. 12. The latest and finest titles for kids, as well as books of interest to parents are available. Get all your holiday shopping done in one location. Contributions also will be accepted for "One for Books," which goes toward purchasing more books for the library's collection.

The library, located at the corner of Roop and Washington streets, is open Mondays 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Fridays noon-6 p.m.; and Saturdays 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
