Health Inspections

Carson City Health Department's food-service inspections for the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 3 (all scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations):

• Starbucks Coffee Restaurant #11274, 3325 Retail Dr. #200, scored 100 points.

• Carson Donut Bakery, 3170 S. Carson St. #10, scored 100 points.

• Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Shop, 3947 S. Carson St., scored 97 points. At least one employee of this establishment must be a certified food handler.

• Courtyard by Marriott Restaurant, 3870 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Lori's Caucus Deli Restaurant, 401 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Seven Eleven #2236-32303A Convenience Store, 3838 U.S. 50 East, scored 96 points. Cleaning and maintenance tools are not properly stored. The mop bucket was found filled with water. No certified food handler was confirmed present at the time of this inspection.

• Seven Eleven #2236-15833 Convenience Store, scored 97 points. There was no certified food handler present at the time of this inspection.

• Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant, 2523 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Molly's Catering & Gourmet Takeout, 220 W. John St., scored 96 points. Shelves holding food and equipment are not cleanable. Floors in the rear, detached food storage building are dirty with black buildup. There is thick dust around the perimeter of the floor. Lights are not properly shielded or protected.

• Holiday Inn Express Continental Breakfast, 4055 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. There was no certified food handler present at the time of this inspection.

• Hampton Inn & Suites Convenience Store, 10 Hospitality Way, scored 100 points.

• Hampton Inn & Suites Continental Breakfast, 10 Hospitality Way, scored 100 points.

• Kabayan Multi-Mart Retail Groceries, 321 Fairview Dr., scored 99 points. There was no "no smoking" sign at the entrance.

• Straw Hat Pizza Restaurant, 135 Clearview Dr., scored 100 points.

• Eagle Valley Market Convenience Store, 933 Woodside Dr. #105, scored 99 points.
