Gina Bianchi scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead Carson High's girls basketball team to a 48-30 win over McQueen Tuesday at Morse Burley Gym.

The win upped Carson's record to 6-2. The Senators will return to action on Dec. 28 with two games in the Las Vegas Tournament.

Carson led 24-17 at the half, and then broke the game open when it outscored the Lancers 16-2 in the third quarter for a 40-19 lead.

"Neither team played well," Carson coach Todd Ackerman said. "We played man the last time we played them and went zone (out of a half-court trap) this time. It bothered them. The third quarter they made some bad decisions."

Elayna Shine contributed nine points and Lisa Yamamoto pulled down five rebounds.
