CARSON MIDDLE SCHOOL 2, PAU-WA-LU 1

Brooklyn Maw led the Carson eighth grade volleyball team to a 25-20, 25-17 victory. She had one kill, eight aces and four digs.

Maw got some help from teammates Kenzie Tillitt, Maddy Saarem and Brianna McCord.

Tillitt notched five kills, eight aces, four aces and four digs, while Carson setter Saarem chipped in with six assists and McCord added three digs and two kills.

Carson improved to 2-1 and will hit the road to meet Carson Valley at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

EAGLE VALLEY EIGHTH 2, CARSON VALLEY 0

Courtney Hack had one ace, two digs, seven assists and three kills as Eagle Valley took a 25-21, 25-17 win.

Cassie Lytle added one block and two kills and Katie Lytle nine digs and four kills as Eagle Valley improved to 4-1.

Eagle Valley also got 10 digs from Jocelyn Young.

EAGLE VALLEY SEVENTH 2, CARSON VALLEY 0

Savannah Smith led Eagle Valley, now 5-0, with 13 points (including three aces, five kills and two digs).

Becka Breuer had 10 points (including three aces and two spikes) and Danielle Good had two points (including one ace and three spikes) in the win.
