Cheers & Kudos

This is a letter of thanks to a community of people I will never forget.

When Greg Farnsworth passed away unexpectedly three months ago, I never knew how many people his life had touched.

The outpouring of community support has been overwhelming.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who gave so generously of his or her words and their monetary support. A special thank you goes out to the Nevada Department of Corrections. Greg would have been touched.

Jim and I want to thank Edie and Cheryl for printing out 100 fliers, and money out of their own pocket.

My daughter Pam Perondi, former owner of Shear Designs, Julie the new owner, Theresa, Mandy, Jenny and Sandi for their prayers and concerns for our little dog Willie.

Pam told me it was the subject all week long at the salon.

Carson City is a very friendly, caring community. I am so proud of everyone, and their help.

The Carson Nugget recently held a fundraiser Wine Makers Dinner that raised $2,425 to donate to the American Cancer Society Foundation.

I would like to give a special thank you to the Food and Beverage Department for the outstanding services provided at the fundraiser: Alex Canas, Charlie Bloomfield and their staff. A special thank you to Chef Nick Demagistris for taking the time to work with me and making this special fundraising event happen; it was a true success.
