Work will continue on the installation of an underground power line along Saliman Road between Colorado Street and Kingsley Lane this week. Drivers can expect minor delays.

The reconstruction of Curry Street from Koontz Lane to Rhodes Street is underway. Rhodes Street will be closed between Carson and Curry streets. Drivers can expect delays on Curry Street of up to 20 minutes and should find an alternate route.

Gordonia Drive will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday to allow for sidewalk improvements.

Crack sealing will continue in the Lakeview and Timberline areas. Use caution in these areas.

Construction of the North Stewart Street extension from East John to North Roop streets is continuing.

Numerous restrictions, closures, and detours are expected in the project area, including the following:

• Long Street between Peters and Roop streets will be closed to through traffic.

• Moody Street between David and Park streets will have partial closures.

• Park and Adams streets will have intermittent closures.

Landscaping is taking place on Fairview Drive. Sidewalk and lane closures will take place between Roop Street and Saliman Road.

Roof replacement for City Hall is scheduled to begin Monday. While City Hall will remain open throughout the project, visitors are advised to use caution in the construction area.

Third Street will be closed Friday from 7-11:30 p.m. for a street dance.
