Approximately 60 law enforcement and search and rescue personnel combed Lake Lahontan and the adjacent desert Sunday looking for a 6-year-old boy who disappeared Saturday.

Lyon County Sheriff's Office Undersherrif Joe Sanford said his department is also looking at the boy's disappearance as a drowning. He said the sheriff's department has a water cadaver dog on the scene, and the Washoe County Hasty Team is also assisting in the search with its divers.

The boy was last seen near Beach 3 on the Silver Springs side. His name is Apollo Fuller of Reno. He was wearing a blue swimsuit with a white stripe. Fuller is white with blonde hair and green eyes. He also has a small scar on his right cheek.

Anyone with information is to call the LCSO at (775) 577-5023 or Churchill County at 423-3116.
