Fleming receives nursing degree from Azusa Pacific

Amanda Kay Fleming graduated cum laude from Azusa Pacific University, Azusa, Calif., May 9. Fleming is a 2005 graduate of Carson High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She also completed a month-long tour in Kolkata, India with Azusa Pacific University's Office of World Missions, working with Mother Teresa's Mission and also in Mercy Hospital in Kolkata, India. She has accepted a position at University of Southern California University Hospital in the abdominal transplant intensive care unit. She is the daughter of Ben and Cheryl Fleming of Carson City.
