An Amber Alert issued Friday from Washoe County has been extended to a statewide search for four children believed to have been taken by their non-custodial mother.

A court order was issued for return of the children by a family court judge who stated there was an immediate risk of harm to the children.

The suspect is Claire Tourand. She is a white female, 34 years old, with brown hair and hazel eyes, 5-feet 8-inches tall and 220 pounds.

The children are Ivan Mata-Martinez, a 9-year-old male, 4-feet tall and 80 pounds; Jakelyne Mata-Martinez, an 8-year-old female, 3-feet, 60 pounds; Megan Mata-Martinez, a 7-year-old female, 2-feet 10-inches, 55 pounds; and Tyson Mata-Martinez, a 4-year-old male, 2-feet 6-inches, 48 pounds.

They were last seen in a white 1998 Mercury Sable, with Nevada license plate 369-SDH. They have been missing since midnight Friday.

Anyone with information that could lead to the location of the children or Tourand should contact Washoe County Sheriff's Office at 775-328-3001 or dial 911.
