Phillip Hale Dobbs, 87, of Carson City died July 18, 2009. He was born July 5, 1922, in Chicago, Ill., to Theodore and Thelma (Lutz) Dobbs. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Dobbs, stepdaughter Julia Hill of Carson City, and stepson Phillip Mead of Sacramento, Calif. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
