Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 42-year-old homeless truck driver was arrested at 8:52 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Modoc Court on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Fulgecio Jimenez-Vargas, 23, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 11:29 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor warrants for second-offense drunken driving, driving without insurance, failure to use due care and contempt of court. Bail was set at $6,000.

• Vincent Ortiz II, 18 of Dayton, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of South Roop Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor open and gross lewdness, misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol and obstructing a peace officer. He was allegedly having sex with a woman in a parking lot. Bail was set at $3,142.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Monday

• A 15-year-old received minor injuries after being hit by a car while riding his bike at Bath and Division streets at 7:34 p.m.

• A man at Chimney Beach reported at 8:12 p.m. that someone scratched his car and slashed his tires.

• Fight report at Mills Park at 9:01 p.m.

Sunday

• A bartender on Curry Street said he locked the doors to the business after a fight erupted outside between six people at 1:12 a.m. One man was arrested on a probation violation.

• Coroner call on Pat Lane at 11:34 a.m.

• A woman on Como Street reported at 2:47 p.m. that her neighbors are repeatedly trying to start a fight with her.

• Report of a man stealing chicken sandwiches from a convenience store on North Carson Street at 6:01 p.m.

• A man reported finding a stolen amplifier under his bushes at 7:40 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Monday

• Report of a stereo and other items stolen from a vehicle on Julius Lane in Mound House at 6:21 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Occidental Drive in Dayton at 4:06 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Winter Place in Fernley at 5:43 p.m.

• Report of six teenagers all in black breaking into a vacant house on Eldorado Avenue in Mark Twain at 7 p.m.

• A caller reported his son's dog was killed by the neighbor's dog on Flowery Avenue in Dayton at 9:30 p.m.

Sunday

• Coroner call on Arden Lane in Mason Valley at 9:55 a.m.

• Man reported someone busted his back windshield and slashed all four tires on Citrus Street in Silver Springs.

• A woman reported someone stole jewelry from her home on Rose Peak Road in Dayton.

• Several storage units were burglarized on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 3:56 p.m.

Storey County

• Report of two husky dogs without water on Dortort Road at 12:14 p.m.
