Carol K. Graves

Carol K. Graves, 69, of Carson City died June 28, 2009, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 26, 1939, In Clay City, Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Graves, in 2006; and brother Butch "Gary" Sutton. She is survived by sons Chris Graves of Renton, Wash., and Robert Graves of Carson City; daughters Edith Dowers of Cayuga, Ind., and Patty Stanfield of Carson City; brother John Sutton and sisters Barbara Ashworth and Wilma Phipps all of Greencastle, Ind.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were July 10 in Cayuga. DeVerter Funeral Home of Cayuga was in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life will be 1-4 p.m. July 25 at 1529 E. Telegraph St. in Carson City.
