Christopher and Rose Picard renewed their wedding vows at Lake Tahoe on July 2, 2009.
Lifetime residents of Carson City, Christopher, is a 1986 graduate of Carson High and former executive chef of InnCognito, and Rose is a former pastry chef of Casino Fandango and Carson Valley Inn.
Rose joined the United States Army in 2007 at age 39 to serve her country.
When she came home from Iraq in May, Chris and Rose decided to renew their wedding vows after 15 years of marriage.
Although their oldest son, Bryan, was unable to attend, their children, Adam and Krystal were in attendance along with sister and brother-in-law Melody and Alan of Livermore, Calif., niece, Michell Picard of Carson City and best friend Mike James of Gardnerville.
