RENO, Nev. (AP) - Police are looking for three people in connection with a Saturday night shooting in south Reno that left a 51-year-old woman dead.
Police say witnesses of the Saturday night shooting at a 7-Eleven saw three men in a dark vehicle in the parking lot. Police say the witnesses saw the men approach another man and his family, who were buying gasoline.
Police say that following a short conversation one of the men fired several rounds from a handgun at the family, hitting a 24-year-old man and his 51-year-old mother, who later died.
Police say they are investigating the incident as possibly being gang-related. They have released photos from surveillance video of the three men and the car.
Reno police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
