American Legion award-winners

Capitol Post No. 4 of Carson City presented its annual American Legion School Awards to Eagle Valley Middle School students Avery Hudak and Benjamin Osheroff. Both students were chosen by the faculty to receive the award in recognition of the possession of those high qualities of courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship and service which are necessary to the preservation and protection of the fundamental institutions of our government and the advancement of our society. The awards were presented by the commander of the post, John Warden and the post vice commander, Daryl Haines.
