Philippi and Hansen engagement announced

Roger and Brijet Philippi of Carson City announce the engagement of their daughter Kristi Philippi to Ronnie Hansen. The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Carson High School and will graduate in December from Western Nevada College with an Associate Degree. She will attend University of Nevada, Reno to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.

The groom is the son of Mark and Jeanie Hansen of Carson City and Keith and Diane Robertson of Paradise, Calif. Ronnie is a 2005 graduate of Carson High School. He served a church service mission from March 2007 through Feb. 2009 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan speaking Mandarin Chinese. He is employed in construction.

The couple plan to wed July 2, 2009, at Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints.
