$1,000 reward offered for ATM thief

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is searching for a woman recorded withdrawing a large amount of money from an ATM with a stolen card as a young male passenger watches her count the bills.

The unauthorized withdrawal was made April 26 at the Minden branch of Bank of America after a woman before the suspect drove away and left her card in the machine.

The suspect is described as female, late 40s to early 50s, light brown hair with blonde/red highlights and pale complexion.

The suspect's vehicle is a blue, late-model Dodge Durango.

Secret Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the suspect's arrest and, or conviction. The caller will remain anonymous. Anyone with information is asked to call sheriff's Investigator Jim Booth at 782-6299 or Secret Witness at 782-7463 or 586-7295.
