NNDA committee members sought

The Northen Nevada Development Authority is creating several key industry advisory committees to help its mission of fostering economic growth in the region.

The committees will assist NNDA with regional strategic planning and national business recruitment. The committees will work together to find solutions to challenges within each industry, but will focus mainly on their own industry. The key advisory industries are:

• Commercial real estate and development

• Banking/finance

• Residential real estate and lending

• Manufacturing

• Workforce and education

• Health care

• Professional services

• Hospitality and tourism

• Marketing/media

• Retail

There are five priority committees:

• Commercial real estate and development

• Banking and finance

• Manufacturing,

• Professional services.

• Workforce and education

The Professional services introduction meeting will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 22 at the NNDA office, 704 W. Nye Lane, Ste 201. The concept of this committee will be presented in detail at the meeting.
