BAC Stage Kids present 'Annie'

The BAC Stage Kids present "Annie," 7 p.m., Friday, March 20 and 27; Saturday, March 21 and 28 and 2 p.m., Saturday, March 21 and 28 and Sunday, March 22 and 29 in the Performance Hall Theater of the Brewery Arts Center, 511 W. King St. "Annie" is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. Parks 4 Paws hosts fundraiser

Parks 4 Paws will hold a fundraiser 7-11 p.m, Saturday, March 28 at the Plaza Hotel Convention Center, 801 S. Carson St. Parks 4 Paws is a nonprofit citizens' group working to create designated dog parks in Carson City. There will be live music by the Craig Fletcher Sweet Success Band, dancing, a silent auction, wine tasting and a no-host bar. Cost is $25 a person and $30 at the door. Moana Nursery presents a free pruning and care of roses seminar, 10 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 1100 W. Moana Lane, Reno. As roses come out of dormancy, you'll need to prune them.
