Jacqueline "Jackie" V. Myers, 89, a Carson City resident, died on March 18, 2009. Mrs. Myers was born on Sept. 12, 1919, in Oregon City, Ore., the daughter of Alfred E. and Effie L. (Turner) Thomas. Mrs. Myers is survived by her daughter Shirley Steadman (Jack); son Robert Chandler (Jan); eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
