Weather for the Carson City area today will be sunny with highs 49-59 with light winds becoming north 10-15 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight, partly cloudy with lows 24-34 with north winds 10-15 mph in the evening becoming light.
Wednesday, partly cloudy in the morning becoming mostly cloudy with highs 54-64 with west winds 10-15 mph.
The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 5:42 a.m. all roads open with no controls with the following exceptions:
SR 89 " Road closed for 7.7 miles between 2.8 miles north of junction Highway 50 and Bliss State Park.
Utility work continues on Little Lane between Saliman Road south Stewart Street, mainly between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., with lane restrictions on Little Lane west of South Roop Street.
Utility work is also being done on North Roop Street from East John to Long streets, and on Corbett street, west of North Roop.
Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, as with East Fifth Street from Saliman Road to Fairview Drive.
Work on Highway 50 in east Carson City and Mound House has posted lower speed limits with narrow lanes just east of Flint Drive.
