'CATS' prowls Carson starting Friday

The Broadway smash musical "CATS" comes to the Carson Community Center's Bob Boldrick Theatre beginning March 27.

The award-winning musical "CATS," composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, first opened in 1981 and burst onto Broadway in 1982. The musical is loosely based on the book "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" by T.S. Eliot "CATS" is the second longest running show on Broadway and it's most popular song, "Memory" has become a global hit, translated into more than a dozen languages.

The Carson Performing Arts production plays at 7:30 p.m. March 27, 28 and April 3, 4. Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m. March 29 and April 5.

The theater is located at 851 E Williams St.

Tickets prices for are $8 for children and Carson High School students; $9 for other students and senior citizens; and for $10 general admission.
