Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Michael Allen McDowell, 44, a transient, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of West Caroline Street on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument, obtaining money under false pretenses and parole violation. He allegedly cashed a check that had been stolen from a Curry Street business by someone else. No bail was set.

- A 25-year-old homemaker from Carson City was arrested at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday at Wal-Mart on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny and obstructing an investigation. She allegedly attempted to steal a toy car valued at $3.18. Bail was set at $764.

- A 36-year-old clerk from Washoe Valley was arrested at 11:23 p.m. Tuesday on Eastlake Boulevard on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $157.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Assault with a deadly weapon arrest of a juvenile at Carson Middle School at 9:46 a.m.

- Report of a 2006 Dodge Caravan with Nevada plates 738TKL stolen from the 400 block of Hot Springs Road at 11:23 a.m.

- Residential burglary report in the 500 block of Pioche Street at 2:48 p.m.

- Fight report in the 100 block of West Winnie Lane at 5:41 p.m.

- Report of a vehicle stolen from Reno recovered in a Carson Street parking lot at 9:55 p.m.

- Report of a vehicle fire on Spooner Summit at 10:33 p.m.

- Report of a single-vehicle accident on Lakeview Hill at 10:24 p.m. The female driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken from the scene via helicopter to a Reno hospital. Alcohol was suspected as a factor in the crash, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. The case will be submitted to the district attorney for review.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Coroner call in the 4800 block of Skyline Drive in Silver Springs at 2:41 a.m.

- Fight between students at Silver Stage High School at 2:06 p.m.

- Residential burglary report on Marshall Street in Fernley at 10:15 a.m.

- Residential burglary report on Jennys Lane in Fernley at 8 p.m.

- Residential burglary report on Royal Oaks Drive in Fernley at 9:34 p.m.

Storey County

The following is one of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Arrest on State Route 341 at 7:36 p.m.
