Olivia Nissen, 85, a Carson City resident, died April 25, 2009 at the Carson Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 30, 1924 to Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers of Corsicana, Texas. Her husband Michael Nissen preceded her in death in 1992. Among her survivors are daughter Barbara Foye; grandchildren Shaila Foye and Cory Mackey; nephew Deen Warren as well as nieces and nephews from her sister Billie Jean and Donna. She will be inurned with her husband at Mountain View Cemetery. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Salvation Army in her name. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
