Affordable lab screenings offered

Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center offers affordable lab screenings the second Tuesday of the month. The next affordable lab screening healthcheck fair will be Tuesday, May 12. Mumbo Gumbo to benefit Arts Council

Carson Valley Arts Council presents Mumbo Gumbo in the last of the 2008-2009 Concert Series Friday, May 8 at the C.V.I.C. Hall, 1604 Esmeralda, Minden. Join fellow Mumbo Gumbo enthusiasts at the no-host bar reception when the doors open at 6 p.m. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and dessert will be served at intermission. Enjoy Pink Tea at Governor's Mansion

The Nevada Women's History Project will celebrate Pink Tea and 100th Birthday Party of the Governor's Mansion, 2-4 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at the Governor's Mansion, 606 Mountain St. Limited to the first 75 persons.
