Longtime residents of Carson City knew her as "Sis", the sweet little woman who pumped their gas for years at the Carson City Shell. Others closer knew her feisty, independent, and tenacious nature. But underneath, she was a most loving, generous mother and friend, who taught us to always be ourselves.

Sis is preceded in death by parents Babe and Irene Bogg; sister Benita and husband Bert. She will be missed by her children Jo (Bruce) Johnson, Jody (Tom) Brown, David (Jen) Salls; grandchildren John, Mondae, Haley, Tyler, and Rylie; great-grandchildren Kylee, Angelo, and Olivia; and brother-in-law Ray Kelley and niece Kelli (Kelley) Newman.

A casual gathering of family and friends will be 10 a.m., Saturday at Walton's Funeral Home (cemetery area) in Carson City Instead of flowers, please donate to an animal shelter. Her family extends a warm thank you to all those who were there for her over the years. Mom, you will be forever loved and in our hearts.
