ATLANTA (AP) " Arizona minor league outfielder Agustin Murillo has been suspended 50 games after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug.

The commissioner's office said Friday that Murillo tested positive for Clenbuterol, a violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Murillo, from Tijuana, Mexico, was hitting .317 with a homer and 13 RBIs in 31 games for Triple-A Reno of the Pacific Coast League.

The suspension is effective immediately.

Arizona assistant general manager Peter Woodfork said the team "does not condone the use of stimulants" and "will use this violation as a strong educational message for all of our players."
