Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Cordle, 53, of Minden, passed Oct. 27, 2009, peacefully at home. She was born Oct. 11, 1956 in Oakland, Calif. to Mary and Charles Mar.
She is survived by her loving husband Dan, sons Dan "Boo" Cordle Jr. of Las Vegas, Steven Cordle of Sparks, daughter Crystal Smith of Carson City, and six granddaughters.
Betty moved to Lake Tahoe in 1961 and graduated from South Tahoe High School. Betty and Dan were married in Dayton in 1973. Betty worked for the State of Nevada, Department of Employment and Training for 15 years.
While raising her family, she became very involved with the sport of motocross and enjoyed attending NHRA races.
Betty will be deeply missed by her family and friends and will remain in our hearts and memories forever. Respecting her wishes, no services will be held.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
