Carson City road report for Nov. 16-22

The following information applies to the period of Nov. 16-22:

Work will continue this week on the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Carson Street (U.S. 395) and Eagle Station Lane, which is located between Koontz Lane and Clearview Drive. During construction, one lane in each direction may be closed between

9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Additionally, one lane will be closed in each direction at night on Tuesday.

The reconstruction of Curry Street from Koontz Lane to Rhodes Street is continuing.

There will be intermittent lane restrictions with flaggers on South Curry Street from Rhodes Street to Koontz Lane and on Rhodes Street from Carson Street to South Curry Street between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The North Stewart Street Extension from East John Street to North Roop Street is open, but contractors are completing remaining work. There will be intermittent lane restrictions with flaggers on North Stewart Street from U.S. 50 East to Roop Street between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Frontage improvements will be completed this week along the south side of Old Clear Creek Road approximately between Bodines Casino and Vista Grande Boulevard, including the area along Fuji Park.
