SPARKS (AP) - A shooting in Sparks has left one man dead and another man in jail on suspicion of murder.

Police say 32-year-old David Sanchez-Dominguez of Reno went to a Wingfield Springs home on Friday night in search of his estranged wife, despite a temporary restraining order prohibiting him from seeing her.

Sanchez walked into the home through an unlocked front door and was confronted by 29-year-old Roberto Corona and others.

Investigators say Sanchez demanded to know the location of his wife, who was not at the home, and fatally shot Corona in the chest during an argument.

Efforts to revive Corona failed and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Family members subdued Sanchez with rope until officers arrived.
