The Carson High School Naval Junior ROTC Unit will conduct its annual military inspection on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The ceremony will begin at 12:15 p.m on the soccer field behind the NJROTC Center; it includes a pass-in-review of the cadet battalion and performances by the two unit drill teams.

Cadet Battalion Commander Collin Grischott will lead the cadets in the review. Commander Eric Martins, executive officer for the Naval Air Station Fallon, will be the inspecting officer along with the Command Master Chief Fred Barton.

The NJROTC unit invites parents, family and friends of the cadets to attend this public event, which should be completed by 1:45 p.m. They extend a special invitation to veterans, members of the Carson City School District, supporting organizations, and former cadets in the NJROTC program, which has been at Carson High School since 1974.

Contact the unit at 283-1780 with any questions.
