Shannon Marie Devereaux and Justin David Morscheck were married Saturday, July 25, 2009, at 5:30 p.m. at William Layton Park in Tahoe City, Calif. A reception following the ceremony was held at Gar Woods Grill and Pier in Carnelian Bay, California.

Shannon is the daughter of Lora Devereaux and Fred Droes of Carson City. She is a 2003 graduate of Carson High School, and graduated in 2007 from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor of arts in English writing.

J.D. is the son of Fred and Marla Morscheck, of Pullman, Wash. He graduated from Pullman High School in 2000, and graduated in 2005 from UNR with a bachelor of science in finance and a master's degree in finance in 2008.

The maid of honor was Katherine Devereaux, sister of the bride. Shannon's bridesmaids were Kristin Gonzales, Shanell Martin, Colleen Doyle, Skya McKinstry and Michelle Marrale.

The best men were Matt Morscheck and Travis Morscheck, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Kyle Reault, Kika Kaululaau, Taylor Alvarez, Donnie Maxon and Nick Paulson. Ushers were Bill DePell and Jake DePell, cousins of the groom.

The flower girl was Lilly Ocean DePell, and the ring bearer was Tre Legrone.

After a honeymoon in Maui and Oahu, Hawaii, then Anchorage and Homer, Alaska, the couple has bought their first home in Pullman, where J.D. has been accepted into the PhD program at Washington State University.
