Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Gregory Bailey-Jones, 33, of Carson City, was arrested at 4 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.

• Jose Antonio Martinez, 18, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 10:39 p.m. Thursday in the 2900 block of Gillis Way on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,896. Also arrested was Jesus Martinez, 47, a restaurant employee from Reno, on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,632. The men were allegedly smoking methamphetamine on the street.

• Richard Reed Werts, 43, a retail worker from Carson City, was arrested at 4:50 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of felony failure to appear on a drug charge, and two misdemeanors for failure to appear. Bail was set at $27,850.

• A 29-year-old retail worker from Dresslerville was arrested at 5:55 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.

• A 48-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 7:05 p.m. Thursday in the 3000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Following a traffic accident, a breath test allegedly determined his blood-alcohol content was .37, more than four times the legal limit. Bail was set at $1,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Domestic dispute outside a Highway 50 East casino at 2:26 p.m.

• Report of a windshield broken on a vehicle in the 1000 block of Woodside Drive at 5:32 p.m.

• A juvenile was arrested for shoplifting at Wal-Mart at 10:57 p.m.

Lyon County

• Misdemeanor arrest on South End Drive in Dayton at 12:09 a.m.

• Residential burglary report on Lakeview Drive in Dayton at 7:05 p.m.
