John P. Letender, of Carson City, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. He was born January 8, 1962, to Joseph and Betty Letender. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Michael. He is survived by his son John Jr.; mother ; sister and her husband Cindy and Ed; sister Susie; brother Joe; longtime companion Terry Kelly; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
