The AT&T Pioneers at Carson and Reno teamed up with Kelly Moore and Carson City Montessori Elementary School staff Saturday to paint the U.S.A map on the schoolplayground.
This map with its teaching guide will provide the teachers and children tools to learn about their country and have fun doing it. School Principal Jessica Daniels got involved in the painting project.
The goal of the AT&T Pioneers (a community service organization of telephone people) and Kelly Moore has been to provide a U.S. map at all Carson City elementary schools.
With this map, all Public Elementary Schools in Carson City now have their own map, said Lee Radtke, coordinator for the project.
