Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Matthew Blair Curtis, 18, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday at Highway 50 East and Airport Road on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and misdemeanor driving without a valid license. Bail was set at $2,687. Also arrested was a 36-year-old unemployed Carson City woman on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court. Bail was set at $500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Vehicle burglary report in the 100 block of Lake Glen Drive at 12:20 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 2100 block of California Street at 2:20 p.m.

• Vehicle burglary report on Carson River Road at 7:42 p.m.

• A man reported being hit over the head with a baseball bat on Woodside Drive at 10:08 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report of two dirt bikes stolen from the 1200 block of East Spruce Street in Silver Springs sometime before 9:19 a.m.

• Report of a juvenile in custody in Silver Springs caught sniffing hand sanitizer at 4:29 p.m.

• Report of an ax thrown through a window on a vehicle in the 1000 block of Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 9:41 p.m.
