Free seminars at Greenhouse

Northern Nevada has a wide variety of fruit trees that will grow here and will provide a good fruit yield.

David Ruf, owner of Greenhouse Garden Center, will give a free seminar "All About Fruit Trees In Northern Nevada"at 10 a.m. April 24 at the center.

There will also be a large selection of fruit trees available for purchase. Attend a seminar and receive a coupon for 15 percent off of up to 5 items purchased for that weekend.

At 11 a.m. April 25, Ruff will present the seminar "Square Foot Gardening."

Learn to garden with less work, less weeding, and less watering by working in a smaller space.

Reservations are not required for either seminar.

Weather permitting, the seminars will be outside so dress accordingly.
